Our colleagues had already organised our Christmas party perfectly in advance and so the entire team from the Boom locations in Leibnitz and Graz made their way to the Seggauberg (Leibnitz) where the hosts from Wirtshaus Schlosskeller Südsteiermark were already expecting us. On the cosy terrace, which was equipped with an open fireplace, we were warmly welcomed with homemade mulled wine and delicious finger food. The scenery was very festive and romantic. Fir trees with twinkling lights completed the picture, while the fire and hot mulled wine kept us cosy and warm in the cold. In this Christmassy atmosphere, thejoy and festive mood of our colleagues was immediately apparent.
One of the highlights of our Christmas party was undoubtedly the four course menu from the Schlosskeller Südsteiermark restaurant kitchen, which has been awarded 2 Gault&Millau toques. We all had the opportunity to put together a menu that we liked from several options in advance. There was also a wine accompaniment.
However, it wasn’t just the food that was impressive, but also the Christmas speech by our CEO Bora. Entertaining and informative at the same time, he offered a recap of the year 2023 and also gave a glimpse into the future. Afterwards, our Boom Christmas elves distributed the lovingly handmade pumpkin seed pesto as a Christmas present to all colleagues.
The party continued in full swing – but even when celebrating, everyone’s safety is our top priority. That’s why shuttle taxis from the Leibnitz taxi company MAY-TAXI were organised for our colleagues in Graz to take them home safely. Thosewho live neither in Leibnitz nor in Graz were given the generous opportunity to stay overnight at the Hotel Alte Post in Leibnitz at Boom’s expense. The result? A celebration that lasted until the early hours of the morning and left us all with smiles on our faces and many fond memories.
The Boom Christmas party 2023 was more than just an event. It was a celebration of team spirit, togetherness and joy that we will all remember for a long time to come. Amidst the festivities and the exuberant atmosphere, we not only celebrated the past year, but also the solidarity and anticipation of what is yet to come.
